2. Atunci Şecania, fiul lui Iehiel, dintre fiii lui Elam, a luat cuvântul şi a zis lui Ezra: Am păcătuit împotriva Dumnezeului nostru, ducându-ne la femei străine care fac parte din popoarele ţării. Dar Israel n-a rămas fără nădejde în această privinţă.
