6. Atunci ei au luat pe Ieremia, şi l-au aruncat în groapa lui Machia, fiul împăratului, care se afla în curtea temniţei, şi au pogorât în ea pe Ieremia cu funii. În groapă nu era apă, dar era noroi; şi Ieremia s-a afundat în noroi.
