16. Atunci Irod, când a văzut că fusese înşelat de magi, s-a mâniat foarte tare, şi a trimis să omoare pe toţi pruncii de parte bărbătească, de la doi ani în jos, care erau în Betleem şi în toate împrejurimile lui, potrivit cu vremea, pe care o aflase întocmai de la magi.
