6. După ce Amoniţii au văzut că au ajuns urâţi lui David, au trimis Hanun şi Amoniţii o mie de talanţi de argint, ca să ia în solda lor nişte care de război şi călăreţi din Siria Mesopotamiei, Siria Maacăi şi din Ţoba.
