2. Şi sculându-se, regele David a zis: ,,Ascultaţi-mă, fraţilor şi poporul meu! Am avut la inima mea gând să zidesc locaş de odihnă pentru chivotul legământului Domnului şi aşternut picioarelor Dumnezeului nostru şi cele de trebuinţă pentru zidire le-am pregătit.
