17. Apoi regele a zis către paznicii lui, care stăteau împrejurul său: ,,Mergeţi şi omorâţi pe preoţii Domnului, căci şi mâna lor este cu David; au ştiut că el a fugit şi nu mi-au descoperit. Paznicii regelui însă n-au voit să-şi ridice mâna, ca să ucidă pe preoţii Domnului.
