19. Dar dintre oamenii din Betşemeş nu s-au bucurat fiii lui Iehonia că au văzut chivotul Domnului. şi a lovit Domnul pe locuitorii din Betşemeş, pentru că ei s-au uitat la chivotul Domnului, şi a ucis din popor cincizeci de mii şaptezeci de oameni. Atunci a plâns poporul, pentru că lovise Domnul poporul cu pedeapsă mare.
