16. Pe Maaca, mama sa, regele Asa a lipsit-o de vrednicia de regină, pentru că ea făcuse un chip turnat pentru Astarte. Asa a răsturnat chipul cel turnat, pe care-l făcuse ea, l-a sfărâmat în bucăţi şi l-a ars în valea Chedronului.
