23. El a adus jertfe dumnezeilor din Damasc, crezând că ei l-au bătut, şi zicea: ,,Fiindcă dumnezeii regilor Sirienilor le-au ajutat lor, le voi aduce jertfă, şi ei îmi vor ajuta şi mie. Însă ei au fost pricina căderii lui şi pricina căderii a tot Israelul.
