17. Ba scrisese el şi scrisori prin care hulea pe Domnul Dumnezeul lui Israel şi în care grăia împotriva Lui astfel de cuvinte: ,,Precum dumnezeii popoarelor pământului n-au scăpat pe popoarele lor din mâna mea, aşa nici Dumnezeul lui Iezechia nu va scăpa pe poporul Său din mâna mea.
