9. După aceasta Sanherib, regele Asiriei, care era cu toată oştirea lui în faţa Lachişului, a trimis pe nişte slujbaşi ai săi la Ierusalim, la Iezechia, regele lui Iuda, şi la toţi cei din Iuda care erau în Ierusalim, ca să le spună:
