17. Căci El a adus asupra lor pe regele Caldeilor şi acela a omorât pe tinerii lor cu sabia în locaşul cel sfânt al lor şi n-a cruţat nici pe Sedechia, nici pe băieţi, nici pe fete, nici pe bătrâni, nici pe cei încărunţiţi; pe toţi Dumnezeu i-a dat în mâna lui.
