18. Însă Ioaş, regele Iudei, a luat toate lucrurile dăruite, pe care le dăruiseră templului Domnului Iosafat, Ioram şi Ohozia, părinţii lui, regii Iudei, precum şi cele ce erau dăruite de el şi tot aurul ce s-a găsit în vistieria templului Domnului şi a casei regeşti şi le-a trimis lui Hazael, regele Siriei, şi acesta s-a retras din Ierusalim.
