24. Mefiboşet, fiul lui Ionatan, fiul lui Saul, a ieşit în întâmpinarea regelui. Acesta, din ziua în care ieşise regele şi până în ziua când se întorsese cu pace, nu-şi mai spălase picioarele, nici nu-şi mai tăiase unghiile, nici nu-şi îngrijise barba şi nici hainele nu şi le mai spălase.
