42. Şi Israeliţii au răspuns bărbaţilor lui Iuda: ,,Noi suntem zece părţi din rege şi noi suntem încă şi întâi născuţi fală de vor. Pentru ce dar ne-aţi dispreţuit? Oare nu noi trebuia să spunem cel dintâi cuvânt pentru întoarcerea regelui? Dar cuvântul bărbaţilor lui Iuda a fost mai puternic decât cuvântul Israeliţilor.
