12. Amasa însă zăcea mort în sânge, în mijlocul drumului. Dar văzând omul acela al lui Ioab că tot poporul se opreşte la trupul lui Amasa, l-a târât pe acesta din drum în câmp şi a aruncat peste el o haină, deoarece vedea că orice trecător se apropia de el.
