12. Abner însă a trimis din partea sa vestitori la David în Hebron, unde se afla el, să-i zică: ,,Al cui este pământul acesta?, şi să-i mai zică încă: ,,Încheie legământ cu mine şi mâna mea va fi cu tine, ca să întoarcă la tine pe tot poporul lui Israel!
