12. Iar ei cu cuvântul au primit venirea noastră, însă cu fapta au lucrat vicleneşte, căci vrând noi să intrăm în templul lor şi cu cuviincioase şi frumoase daruri să-l cinstim, ei semeţindu-se ca şi mai demult, ne-au oprit a intra; iar noi am rămas de bună socotinţa noastră.
