17. Şi după trei zile Pavel a chemat la el pe cei care erau fruntaşii iudeilor. Şi, adunându-se, zicea către ei: Bărbaţi fraţi, deşi eu n-am făcut nimic rău împotriva poporului (nostru) sau a datinilor părinteşti, am fost predat de la Ierusalim , în mâinile romanilor.
