12. Dar sunt nişte iudei, pe care i-ai pus cârmuitori peste ţinutul Babilonului: Şadrac, Meşac şi Abed-Nego. Aceşti bărbaţi, nici că au luat în seamă porunca ta, o, rege; dumnezeului tău nu-i slujesc şi chipului de aur pe care tu l-ai înălţat nu-i aduc închinare!"
