5. Atunci dregătorii şi satrapii s-au trudit să găsească lui Daniel vreo pricină din partea cârmuirii regatului, dar n-au putut să-i afle nici o pricină sau lucru rău, căci el era credincios şi nici o trecere cu vederea sau greşeală nu i s-a putut pune în seamă.
