6. Atunci locuitorii Ghibeonului au trimis la Iosua, în tabăra Israeliţilor de la Ghilgal, zicând: ,,Să nu-ţi iei mâna de deasupra robilor tăi! Vino la noi repede de ne dă ajutor şi ne izbăveşte, că s-au adunat împotriva noastră toţi regii Amoreilor care trăiesc în munţi.
