10. Cetăţile acestea sunt ale lui Efraim, deşi sunt între fiii lui Manase. Hotarul lui Manase se sfârşeşte la mare, pe partea de miazănoapte a râului. Partea de miazăzi este a lui Efraim, iar cea de la miazănoapte este a lui Manase. Marea însă era hotarul lor la apus. La miazănoapte se mărginea cu Aşer, iar spre răsărit cu Isahar.
