8. Cu toate acestea el a pustiit întregul lor ţinut şi dumbrăvile lor le-a tăiat, având de gând să nimicească toţi zeii pământului, ca toate popoarele să i se închine lui Nabucodonosor şi toate limbile şi neamurile să se roage acestuia ca la un dumnezeu.
