8. S-au lepădat de legea părinţilor lor şi s-au închinat Dumnezeului cerului, Dumnezeului pe Care L-au cunoscut. Şi din această pricină părinţii lor i-au izgonit din ţara dumnezeilor pe care îi părăsiseră, şi atunci ei au fugit în Mesopotamia, unde au locuit vreme îndelungată.
