16. De aceea (moştenirea făgăduită) este din credinţă, ca să fie din har şi ca făgăduinţa să rămână sigură pentru toţi urmaşii, nu numai pentru toţi cei ce se ţin de lege, ci şi pentru cei ce se ţin de credinţa lui Avraam, care este părinte al nostru al tuturor,
