7. Înainte, la facerea unei cumpărături sau a unui schimb, pentru întărirea lucrului, era în Israel obiceiul acesta: unul îşi descălţa sandaua sa şi o da celuilalt, care primea dreptul de rudenie mai apropiată şi aceasta era mărturie în Israel.
