37. Dar Paul a răspuns: După ce, fără să fi fost judecaţi, ne-au bătut în public, pe noi, cetăţeni romani, şi ne-au aruncat în închisoare, acum ne scot afară în ascuns? Nu! Să vină ei înşişi şi să ne elibereze.
