12. Deoarece portul nu era potrivit pentru iernat, cei mai mulţi au fost de părere să plece de acolo şi, dacă ar fi posibil, să ajungă la Fenix, un port din Creta, orientat spre vântul de sud-vest şi cel de nord-vest. Acolo aveau de gând să ierneze.
