1. Şi Saul era de acord cu uciderea lui. În ziua aceea a început o mare persecuţie împotriva Bisericii din Ierusalim şi toţi, în afară de apostoli, s-au împrăştiat prin ţinuturile Iudeii şi ale Samariei.
