1. Fiii lui Ruben, întâiul născut al lui Israel. Căci el era întâiul născut, dar, pentru că a spurcat patul tatălui său, dreptul lui de întâi născut a fost dat fiilor lui Iosif, fiul lui Israel; totuşi Iosif n-a fost scris în spiţele de neam ca întâi născut.
