32. Elisei şedea în casă, şi bătrânii şedeau lângă el. Împăratul a trimis pe cineva înainte. Dar înainte ca să ajungă solul, Elisei a zis bătrânilor: "Vedeţi că acest fiu de ucigaş trimite pe cineva să-mi ia capul? Ascultaţi! Când va veni solul, închideţi uşa şi opriţi-l la uşă; nu se aude oare sunetul paşilor stăpânului său în urma lui?"
