După ce s-a sfârşit lucrul acesta, căpeteniile s-au apropiat de mine şi au zis: "Poporul lui Israel, preoţii şi leviţii nu s-au despărţit de popoarele acestor ţări şi au făcut urâciunile lor, ale canaaniţilor, hetiţilor, fereziţilor, iebusiţilor, amoniţilor, moabiţilor, egiptenilor şi amoriţilor.
