11. Locuitorii ţării, canaaniţii, au fost martori la bocetul acesta din aria lui Atad şi au zis: "Iată un mare bocet printre egipteni!" De aceea s-a dat acestei arii numele Abel-Miţraim; ea este dincolo de Iordan.
