20. Căci Domnul a îngăduit ca popoarele acelea să-şi împietrească inima şi să lupte împotriva lui Israel, pentru ca Israel să le nimicească cu desăvârşire, fără să aibă milă de ele, şi să le nimicească, după cum poruncise lui Moise, Domnul.
