48. Atunci Abimelec s-a suit pe muntele Ţalmon, el şi tot poporul care era cu el. A luat o secure în mână, a tăiat o ramură de copac, a luat-o şi a pus-o pe umăr. Apoi a zis poporului care era cu el: "Aţi văzut ce am făcut? Grăbiţi-vă şi faceţi şi voi ca mine."
