18. Amasai, unul din căpitanii de seamă, a fost apucat de Duhul, şi a zis: „Sîntem cu tine, Davide, şi cu tine, fiul lui Isai! Pace, pace ţie, şi pace celor ce te ajută, căci Dumnezeul tău ţi-a ajutat!” Şi David i-a primit, şi i-a pus între căpeteniile oştirii.
