6. Solomon a răspuns: „Tu ai arătat o mare bunăvoinţă faţă de robul Tău David, tatăl meu, pentrucă umbla înaintea Ta în credincioşie, în dreptate şi în curăţie de inimă faţă de Tine; i-ai păstrat această mare bună voinţă, şi i-ai dat un fiu, care şade pe scaunul lui de domnie, cum se vede astăzi.
