24. Bucătarul a dat spata şi ce era pe ea, şi a pus-o înaintea lui Saul. Şi Samuel a zis: „Iată ce a fost păstrat, pune-o înainte, şi mănîncă, fiindcă pentru tine s-a păstrat cînd am poftit poporul.” Astfel Saul a mîncat cu Samuel în ziua aceea.
