25. Cînd au plecat dela el, după ce-l lăsaseră în mari suferinţe, slujitorii lui au uneltit împotriva lui din pricina sîngelui fiului preotului Iehoiada. L-au omorît în patul lui, şi a murit. L-au îngropat în cetatea lui David, dar nu l-au îngropat în mormintele împăraţilor.
