23. A adus jertfă dumnezeilor Damascului, cari-l bătuseră, şi a zis: „Fiindcă dumnezeii împăraţilor Siriei le vin în ajutor, le voi aduce şi eu jertfe, ca să-mi ajute.” Dar ei au fost prilejul căderii lui şi a întregului Israel.
