16. Acum, Doamne, Dumnezeul lui Israel, ţine făgăduinţa pe care ai făcut-o tatălui meu David, cînd ai zis: ,Niciodată nu vei fi lipsit înaintea Mea de un urmaş care să şadă pe scaunul de domnie al lui Israel, numai fiii tăi să ia seama la calea lor şi să meargă în legea Mea, cum ai mers tu înaintea Mea.`
