1. Împărăteasa din Seba a auzit de faima lui Solomon, şi a venit la Ierusalim ca să-l încerce prin întrebări grele. Ea avea un alai foarte mare, şi cămile încărcate cu mirodenii, aur mult de tot şi pietre scumpe. S-a dus la Solomon, şi i-a spus tot ce avea pe inimă.
