32. Absalom a răspuns lui Ioab: „Iată, ţi-am trimes vorbă şi ţi-am zis: ,Vino aici, şi te voi trimete la împărat să-i spui: ,Pentruce m-am întors din Gheşur? Ar fi fost mai bine pentru mine să fiu şi acum acolo. Doresc acum să văd faţa împăratului; şi dacă este vreo nelegiuire în mine, să mă omoare.`
