9. Absalom s-a pomenit în faţa oamenilor lui David. Era călare pe un catîr. Catîrul a pătruns subt ramurile încîlcite ale unui mare stejar, şi capul lui Absalom s-a prins de stejar; a rămas astfel spînzurat între cer şi pămînt, şi catîrul care era subt el a trecut înainte.
