5. Nu, nu pentru bunătatea ta, nici pentru curăţia inimii tale intri tu în stăpînirea ţării lor; ci din pricina răutăţii acestor neamuri le izgoneşte Domnul, Dumnezeul tău, dinaintea ta, şi ca să împlinească astfel cuvîntul prin care Domnul S-a jurat părinţilor tăi, lui Avraam, lui Isaac şi lui Iacov.
