11. Ebed-Melec a luat cu el pe oamenii aceia, şi s-a dus la casa împăratului, într-un loc dedesuptul vistieriei; a luat de acolo nişte petece de haine purtate şi nişte trenţe de haine vechi, şi le-a pogorît lui Ieremia în groapă, cu nişte funii.
