1. Adoni-Ţedec, împăratul Ierusalimului, a aflat că Iosua pusese mîna pe Ai şi o nimicise cu desăvîrşire, că făcuse cetăţii Ai şi împăratului ei cum făcuse Ierihonului şi împăratului lui, şi că locuitorii Gabaonului făcuseră pace cu Israel şi erau în mijlocul lor.
