1. Potom reče mi Gospod: idi opet, ljubi ženu koju ljubi ljubavnik a ona čini preljubu, kao što Gospod ljubi sinove Izrailjeve a oni gledaju za tuđim bogovima i ljube žbanove vinske.
  
2. I kupih je za petnaest sikala srebra i gomor i po ječma.
  
3. I rekoh joj: sjedi kod mene dugo vremena, i ne kurvaj se, i ne budi drugoga; tako ću i ja biti tvoj.
  
4. Jer će dugo vremena sinovi Izrailjevi sjedjeti bez cara i bez kneza i bez žrtve i bez stupa i bez oplećka i likova.
  
5. Poslije će se obratiti i tražiće Gospoda Boga svojega i Davida cara svojega, i u strahu će pristupiti ka Gospodu i blagosti njegovoj u pošljednja vremena.
