4. Och Saul sade till sin vapendragare: "Drag ut ditt svärd och genomborra mig därmed, så att icke dessa oomskurna komma och hantera mig skändligt." Men hans vapendragare ville det icke, ty han fruktade storligen. Då tog Saul själv svärdet och störtade sig därpå.
